Reflecting on 2024: My Journey of Humility
As we usher in a new year, I find myself reflecting on the highs and lows of 2024. It was a year that taught me many lessons, but none as profound as the value of humility. Life has a way of teaching us lessons we never knew we needed, and 2024 was my classroom. Across various facets of life—money, business, family, and relationships—I found moments that reshaped my perspective and deepened my gratitude.

Life’s unpredictability humbled me. There were moments I thought I had everything under control, only to be reminded that no matter how prepared we feel, challenges can arise. A health scare early in the year forced me to slow down and prioritize self-care, a lesson in vulnerability and resilience. It reminded me that we are human, and it’s okay to lean on others when we need help.

As the owner of Finance Focus Inc., financial literacy is my passion and profession. Yet, even I was reminded this year that money is not merely about numbers. A significant investment didn’t yield the returns I had anticipated, leaving me feeling defeated.
